Poez the Poet
"A voice musician ... a young man with a flow of words like a river ... like a jazz instrument." In July, 1979, this is how the New York Daily News (Ernest Leogrande) described Poez (Paul Mills) early in his career as a performance poet, which began in 1976. There was no one else like him.
In Suzanne's words, Paul Mills proposed to Suzanne in May, 1983, and she accepted his proposal on Christmas Day, 2005. They were married on Feb. 11, 2006.
